Hello! My name is Nicholas Calhoun or you can call me Nick! I specialize in developing smart contracts across multiple L1 and L2 networks using Solidity/Hardhat to write/deploy smart contracts based on OpenZeppelins ERC20 & ERC721 secure contracts. I have experience integrating useful features within the smart contracts such as Minting/Staking/Whitelist/Royalties/Giveaways.

Hey! It's Nicholas Calhoun and I'm a Solidity Developer located in Atlanta. I've helped write/test and deploy Web3 projects & smart contracts for startups, consulted with Microsoft researchers about solidity development and the future of web3, and also collaborated with other developers through azure devops to have production ready smart contracts featuring every detail of the whitepaper by a certain deadline.

I fell in love with cryptocurrency in 2017 when bitcoin went on it's record-breaking run. This was the rabbit hole into the cryptocurrency universe for me. I began my career as a solidity developer in 2021 after making the switch from a trader/front-end web developer. Please Contact me here.

Web3 AirBNB

I have created a Web3 Airbnb Clone built on the polygon testnet using the Moralis database and web3uikit. Users have the ability to book/post rentals by interacting with the smart contract functions while all transactions to/from the smart contract are recorded in the moralis database. This project was written/tested/deployed with Solidity/Hardhat/ReactJS/Moralis.

My responsibilities would include, working closely with the CEO to ensure every aspect of the whitepaper is included in the contract properly, having daily SCRUM meetings with the team to ensure we are all on track and to assist each other with any blockers, and implementation of DeFi features such as Staking/Auctions while keeping gas optimization and storage size a priority.

NickCoin ICO

I have created my own Initial Coin Offering that allows users to buy/claim NickCoins before it drops on a live market. I've incorported a claim system that allows users that hold NFT's from my previous project to receive 50 free NickCoins. This project was written/tested/deployed with Solidity/Hardhat/ReactJS.

Nick's NFTCollection

This is a sample NFTCollection that ties into my NickCoin ICO project by allowing users to mint my generated NFTs through a ERC721 smart contract. The contract has been created with whitelist and presale capabilities allowing whitelisted users to mint 10 minutes before the public. This project was written/tested/deployed with Solidity/Hardhat/ReactJS.
